What would your family do with $25,000?Most of the money would go toward helping the mother’s younger brother, who has Down syndrome and lives in the Dominican Republic. Although he is an adult, we are working on the legal guardianship process there so we can eventually bring him to live with us and care for him as family. The funds would help with legal, visa, residency, travel, and support costs because he truly needs us.
