About Artemis's personality

Artemis is a nonstop ball of energy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. In new situations or around large groups, he tends to hang back and quietly observe — but once he feels comfortable, he’s all in. He loves to dance, run, and leap onto anything (or anyone!) in motion, all while wearing a mischievous grin. His silly, goofy nature shines when he knows he’s making the whole room laugh.

What are Artemis's favorite activities?

At just two years old, Artemis already has a strong arm and a sharp eye — he loves baseball, especially the Dodgers, and spends hours pitching and swinging his bat in the backyard. He’s a little athlete in the making, always eager to try new sports and games. His favorite song is “(If) You Want Trouble” by Nick Waterhouse — and honestly, it’s a pretty fitting theme. He dances his heart out every time it comes on. He’s also obsessed with garbage trucks and never misses a chance to follow them.

How would $25,000 impact your family?

This past year has been incredibly difficult for us. Both of Artemis’s parents lost their jobs within months of each other, and earlier this year, his Abuela also faced job loss. On top of that, extended family health challenges and mounting expenses have made it a heavy time financially and emotionally. Winning this prize would provide much-needed relief for our family — helping us catch up, stay on our feet, and continue giving Artemis the love, support, and playful stability he deserves.
