August is like the sun. Burning bright, keeps you warm, and can be a little heated sometimes. Everyone who meets him is always surprised with how extroverted he is. He will go up to anyone without fear regardless of gender, race, age, and he just starts engaging and putting smiles on peoples faces. He beats to his own drum and isn’t afraid to color outside of the lines. A fierce Dino who wants to chase you around, yet afraid of any bug he sees. He is unapologetically himself with sass and love
What are August's favorite activities?August is a mix of right and left brain. Art, fingerprinting (things he shouldn’t) and photography. He has his own camera, and loves catching a good moment although he tries to stay in the moment. He is also in LOVE with the water. Alongside creativity, he is into science! Space, the make up of dinosaurs, and WHY 1+1=2. August is also a natural born soccer star and we say that because catching a ball isn’t his strong suit yet. Overall, If it’s in front of August, August wants to play!
How would $25,000 impact your family?The 25,000 could change our life. It would allow us to jet set our goals of being in the school district of our dreams, it would allow August to have his first plane ride and see the ocean for the first time. Overall, we just want August to have the life we never had the chance of having growing up, especially me (mom). We never really had the resources or opportunities for adventure-and I want to make sure August receives MORE than I ever had. He deserves it.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Toddler of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
