Aurora is a very smart, very energetic girl who loves to be on the move. She loves her family very much and loves working with all of her therapists to help her reach her goals developmentally. She has made so much progress since her diagnosis and will continue to make more progress each day! She really brings so much joy into our lives!
What are Aurora's favorite activities?Aurora loves puzzles and building things. She loves building things with blocks or legos. She loves swimming with her dad and older sister. She is also good at making her 6 month old twin sisters laugh.
How would $25,000 impact your family?The $25,000 would help us to get some of the medical equipment and more therapy for Aurora. She needs a special bed that will prevent her from falling out of bed or eloping when she wakes up at night. This bed is over $10,000 out of pocket and our insurance does not cover it. We also want to continue her play therapy once she turns 3, but insurance no longer covers this therapy for kids over 3. Play therapy has helped her so much in her journey and we want to be able to continue it.
