Baker is sweet, funny, and always has a smile on his face. He’s non-verbal so he’s learning to communicate by using his AAC device or he just grabs our hands and takes us where he wants to go.
What are Baker's favorite activities?He loves to swim, play outside (especially in the mud), swing, and climb. He carries action figures everywhere he goes. His favorite thing in the world is food so when it’s meal-time or snack-time he comes running. He plays with his big brother, Bennett, who’s just a year older than him. The boys are adopted and they’re full brothers.
How would $25,000 impact your family?It would be a HUGE help. Because of his autism and therapies, my wife can’t work full time so we live paycheck to paycheck. Baker recently needed a special needs stroller and those are $3,000. By the grace of God, someone gave us one. But there’s more he needs. We want to give Baker every opportunity to succeed and insurance doesn’t cover everything. His adoption was $45,000 and that took most of our savings but we had to keep the boys together because brothers deserve to have each other.
