Boulder is a quick learner and has a kind and gentle heart. He is a kid who feels and speaks of his emotions at a level well beyond his age of 3. Boulder has struggled with his vision after being born prematurely at 35 weeks old. He started wearing glasses at the age of 1 1/2, and we didn’t know the prescription was incorrect. Boulder is now in the correct prescription, but he’s needing extra support after developing amblyopia. We are so proud of him for wearing his eye patch each day!
What are Boulder's favorite activities?Boulder is an inquisitive and curious learner. He loves anything construction or building-related. Legos and blocks are his favorite building material, while he also enjoys all types of construction vehicles, and can name them all! He enjoys bike rides, downhill skiing, walks, and kayaking. He also enjoys creating with his mom who is an artist/maker. He’s recently working on making dried flower bouquets out of the flowers our family received as congratulations on Boulder becoming a big brother!
How would $25,000 impact your family?Boulder’s dad is a civil engineer and his mom is a small business owner/artist. We value education in our household and we can see that Boulder will be a hard-working and curious learner! With two kids and an inconsistent second income, we are hoping to use the $25,000 to invest in his future education. Whether it’s a traditional path, technical learning route, or even an incredible invention/business plan, we believe Boulder has big things in store. 💕
