Braxton was abandoned in the NICU at 2 days old. We received a call and immediately went to meet him. He came home with us at 30 days old. He is an NAS baby, and the first 4 months of his life was a battle. To eat, sleep, or even be held, was miserable for him. He was officially made a part of our family at 16 months old and we are now looking to adopt him. Braxton is the definition of joy, love, and happiness. He loves people more than any child I've ever encountered. Truly a little miracle.
What are Braxton's favorite activities?Braxton loves to make others laugh and smile. Most days you can find him in his big brother or Sissy's room playing. Swimming is one of his favorite activities. He is absolutely fearless and will jump right in! Coloring, puzzles, and slime are some of the few things that will keep him sitting. He's a ball of energy and always on the go! At night, he loves to get a couple snuggles in before bed. He loves to be close to his family.
How would $25,000 impact your family?If we were to win $25,000 we would finally be able to adopt Braxton. At the moment we have guardianship and full custody. Braxton is our son in our eyes, but we very much want to make it legally so. Braxton has been through so much at only 3 years old, and in spite of it all is still the most loving child. I want so badly to give him all the good things because he truly deserves it. $25,000 would definitely change our lives.
