About Evan's personality

He is full of life. He is happiest most of the time (waking up from a nap is a different story). He loves being outdoors and is so heartwarming. He loves to give hugs and blow kisses - even to strangers. He likes to look at the girls too (Jessica Rabbit was his favorite Halloween costume he saw last year). He is very bright - knows his ABCs, can count to 10, and even knows sign language - thanks Ms. Rachel). My mother babysits him while we work and they are besties, behind mom & dad of course!

What are Evan's favorite activities?

Anything outdoors is Evan's favorite. He loves to dig, pick up sticks, garden, water the flowers, swim, you name it. For his 2nd birthday, he got his own wheel barrow and garden tools and I think they get more use then our adult ones do. A pile of dirt makes him grin ear-to-ear. He finds peace riding on the lawn mower - it puts him right to sleep! If he's indoors, he is playing with and observing his cars closely to learn how they work - I swear he will be an engineer one day!

How would $25,000 impact your family?

The last 1.5 years have been difficult as we were caught in a contractor fraud situation. My husband is Active Duty Navy and we purchased a home in MS while living in NC and hired a contractor to renovate the home. When we moved to MS in March of 2024, we found the home in worse condition then when we purchased and lost $120K+ and ongoing legal fees. Therefore, we have been unable to contribute to Evan's college fund like we had planned. This money would be saved exactly for that; he deserves it
