Despite everything that she has been through - the doctor visits, hospitalizations, the therapies, and the other challenges - she is a true fighter. Her strength and happiness are nothing short of inspiring.
What are Heidi's favorite activities?Heidi loves anything involving water, to include bath time, playing outside in the sprinkler or with her water table, and her most favorite - our neighborhood pool. Her favorite toys are a talking cactus and sunflower. She is an avid Ms. Rachel watcher. She loves going on walks and being pushed in the stroller. She also enjoys going to the Greensboro Science Center and looking at the fish and prairie dogs.
How would $25,000 impact your family?$25,000 would help tremendously without hospital bills, therapy appointment copays, and doctor visits. Heidi will require continued physical and occupational therapy, and speech and feeding therapy moving forward. This money would be such a gift to help our family with the future expenses required to further support Heidi's development.
