His imagination has recently taken full flight, and he can make a big adventure out of any mundane errand! He is loving, loves to laugh with family and friends (he’s a jokester!), and is also intense - he has the ability to focus on an activity for a long time, and loves to explore the inner-workings of everything around him. He is also independent - great at getting his own snacks and entertaining himself with any number of action figures and planes. He is our absolute joy!
What are Jacques Leclerc's favorite activities?His favorite activities are ever-evolving, but since babyhood, he has loved to sing and dance! His mom is a pianist, so music is a natural expression for him. He also has a lifelong fascination with airplanes and helicopters. His current favorite activities are climbing trees (gotta try every one), coasting down hills on his balance bike, playing tug with his dog, and throwing rocks into the lake! Oh, and he LOVES sea creatures - he can name over 36 by picture! The aquarium is his happy place!
How would $25,000 impact your family?Hugely. We are new first-time homeowners. We were fortunate (as a scientist and musician) to buy a 100yo condo in a building with wonderful neighbors in a fantastic location in Chicago. But there are so many necessary updates - like the kitchen that hasn’t been touched since the 1960s and has warped countertops and failing cabinets. We would love to be able to build a new kitchen where we can continue to create family memories for years to come! Did I mention he loves to help mom crack eggs?!
