Lando is such a goofball & loves to make others laugh. He has a laid-back personality, which makes his multiple weekly visits with his specialists a breeze. He sees his surgeon & cardiologist twice a year out of state; he is a wonderful traveler! He loves to play with his 7-year-old twin sisters. He's very animated when he interacts with others & uses his hands to talk. He is a huge Bluey fan! He loves to dance, so on any given day, you'll find us having a living room dance party as a family.
What are Lando's favorite activities?Lando loves cars, trucks, and other vehicles. He loves to make garages, ramps, and obstacles for his various vehicle toys. He loves to play with his sand & water table outside. Lando enjoys riding his balance bike! He loves to build forts with his sisters. Lando loves to hang out with his sister's Guide Dogs of America/Tender Loving Canines Autism Service Dog, Stella. He's a huge fan of bird-watching & points out every bird he sees! He enjoys viewing airplanes & helicopters flying in the sky.
How would $25,000 impact your family?$25,000 would change our lives! We went into debt, being forced to move 2.5 hours away for 2 months to obtain medical care for Lando when I gave birth to him. He was born with a CDH; his intestines were in his chest cavity, and he had 44% of his lungs when he was born. He endured a 6-hour corrective surgery at 5 days old. He spent the next month in the NICU recovering. We missed Thanksgiving & Christmas at home with our 4-year-old twin daughters (w/gparent) while away for Lando's medical care.
