Before Leela was born the nurses nicknamed her Miss Sassy, because she would play hide & seek during her ultrasound check ups. They weren’t wrong either, Leela has a strong independent yet super loving and friendly personality. She picks up songs and phrases like “I love you,” everyday. She has an ear for music and prefers calm melodic songs such as Closer from Goapele. She is very tenacious and once she sets her mind on something she accomplishes it.
What are Leela's favorite activities?Leela’s favorite words right now are “happy & thank you.” She loves to watch Peppa Pig and Ms Rachel on her iPad and she knows how to operate it at just 2 years old. She also likes to swim, and try on shoes & hats that she finds around the house.
How would $25,000 impact your family?Leela’s $25,000 prize will go towards her music and singing lessons. The rest of her earnings will be put into her savings account as a part of her college trust fund. We are a working middle class family and we always put our kids first because they are the future. I’ll eat ramen, so she can eat steak.
