His favorite activities are ones that let him bond with the people he loves. Playing hide-and-seek with his cousins, playing superheros with cape blankets with mom, family picnics and dog walks where he collects flowers to give to his friends. But what makes Levi’s play so special is the way he invites others in. Whether it’s a child who’s feeling shy or an adult who’s having a tough day, Levi will reach out, with a toy, a hug, or a laugh and creates a space where they can belong.

As a single mom by choice, I’ve built our little family around love, resilience, and a deep sense of connection, but we are navigating an exceptionally difficult chapter. Levi’s grandmother passed away recently from ovarian cancer. Now, my sister is facing the same diagnosis. I work full-time to provide for Levi and our extended family, managing the emotional and financial toll. Levi has shown so much grace through grief and change, this would let me give back to him in a way he truly deserves.
