Lowell is a big brother and middle cousin. He loves to help his sister build things and help in the garden. He picks raspberries and shares with her. He is a playful spirit, tumbling, climbing, and biking as fast as he can. His imagination is firing on all cylinders. He loves to write songs and sing impromptu concerts in the dining room. He and his sister love to dance to Latin music and reggae. He has a super groovy booty. He loves to read books, grabbing dozens at a time.
What are Lowell's favorite activities?Biking, skiing, climbing, tumbling, swimming, fishing, gardening, collecting bugs, reading, painting, drawing, learning, and just running around outside. He loves to be up in the mountains and he swims like a fish. He has been pedal biking since he was 2 and a half. He is an active little beastie. He also loves to learn about the bugs and plants that he sees in the garden or at the park, working with us to identify new ones daily.
How would $25,000 impact your family?We would be able to put Lowell (and eventually his sister) in a Montessori program where he could continue to learn. He needs a lot of attention to keep him engaged, but when he gets that, he demonstrates an incredibly curious and enthusiastic zeal for learning. He is learning Spanish at home, this money would help him continue to learn Spanish in a dual language Montessori program where he could get the support he deserves.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Toddler of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
