Luka has always had such a HUGE HEART filled with love. He isn't quite talking yet, but has his own way of communication that makes you really know him! From giving "you're not leaving me" looks when we attempt to sleep-train him to literally bringing a chair into the closet to scale the pantry shelves and get the Costco cookies on the top shelf - just because he's autistic doesn't mean he isn't sharp!
What are Luka's favorite activities?Luka loves to watch Peppa Pig, BabyShark and Bluey. He has a knack for the details of things - he even attached a steering wheel to his favorite ride-on toy! He loves to go to indoor play-parks, large slides, and swinging on the swing! He's full of energy all the time and loves to run and play with bubbles and other water related toys. Any toys that make noise and have buttons are his favorite and of course, eating chocolate chip cookies!
How would $25,000 impact your family?It would have a HUGE impact! Paying for some of the care associated with autism has been a challenge. The $25k would go DIRECTLY into his 529 and prepare for his future with many of the therapies we have to pay for during early intervention (ABA, speech therapy, feeding therapy and occupational therapy).
