Parker

Parker is a total goofball. He makes up silly songs or dances on the spot and finds a way to turn even the most ordinary moments into something funny. But behind the laughter is a curious mind, always asking questions, always wanting to know how things work and why people feel the way they do. And at his core, he’s incredibly sweet. He is gentle with younger kids, quick to offer a hug, and always noticing when someone needs a little extra love.

Parker loves staying active and is always on the move, whether he is racing with the big kids, playing "the floor is lava", or dribbling a basketball. But along with this structure, his imagination is always at work, turning every little thing into a big adventure. He builds forts with his sister, performs plays, and makes up songs. He also loves to help fix things around the house or stir and measure in the kitchen. He’s curious, hands-on, and just plain playful.

My husband and I are both hardworking public school teachers but in this economy, many things always feel just out of reach. This win would ease that financial stress for our family by helping with medical bills, home repairs, and our children's futures. But even more valuable, it would create more opportunities for togetherness. It would take enough stress off of our shoulders for us to focus on making core family memories and creating experiences that don't come with a price tag.
