Receive Text UpdatesSarah is resilient. She spent 5 weeks in NICU. She had to have a g-tube for feeding and oxygen. Our little one got off the oxygen and the gtube in less than a year. She also had PDA heart surgery a year after birth and has shown us to be strong. Even right after surgeries she is just a smiley face, so upbeat and playful. Loves to say hi to anyone and everyone, she has a beautiful smile. She is not able to walk yet, but is putting all her efforts through physical therapy and growth hormones.
What are Sarah Michelle's favorite activities?Sarah loves to be in the water, splashes and plays. She loves music, since mom is a musician, Sarah also plays piano and sings. Of course, she loves to go to church nursery and sing and play with her friends.
How would $25,000 impact your family?It has been financially difficult for me as a single mother, part-time student and a full time correctional officer. I have tons of medical bills piled up but I trust in God in every step. Sarah was diagnosed with a couple of things but for now, growth hormones and physical therapy is what is helping her get strong. I can’t tell you how grateful I am with God and with my parents, especially my mother. She is her caregiver since I work full time and then some. 💜
