Receive Text UpdatesSeamus is an outgoing personality. He is always ready to start his day at the autism center (we call it school) with enthusiasm and joy. He loves to hug all of his therapists (we call them teachers) and we are fortunate to have them.
What are Seamus's favorite activities?Seamus loves snuggling with his blanket, the swing at school, and wagon rides. He enjoys being outside and playing in water.
How would $25,000 impact your family? This money would be used to buy him adaptive equipment like a wheelchair stroller, special needs car seat, special formula, and 8 weeks of intensive feeding therapy at the University of Nebraska Children's Feeding Disorder Clinic. Health insurance feels that the wheelchair stroller and the car seat are "optional recreational equipment". Seamus is bottle dependent on supplemental liquid nutrition that is not covered by insurance, unless he has a feeding tube. His special formula is $600/month.
