Her most unique quality is that she is compassionate and understanding to everyone around her. Including her older sister Penelope who has Autism. Sydney gives her sister emotional support when she needs and always includes her when they play together!
What are Sydney's favorite activities?Sydney loves all sports, but especially loves playing soccer and hockey with her dad! She definitely got her fiery competitiveness from him! Her favorite subject in school is art and she is always bringing home a new masterpiece! At home she enjoys cooking in the kitchen with mommy! She uses fresh ingredients from our small garden in the backyard. She enjoys helping me take care of and water the vegetables. She has grown tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and basil!
How would $25,000 impact your family?We would love to use the $25,000 to help support NICU families! Sydney was born prematurely at 34 weeks and spent 14 days in the NICU at Stony Brook University Hospital! I wrote a children’s book inspired by Sydney’s NICU journey, which has helped hundreds of families process and heal from their own NICU experience! This money would help us continue to donate more books and care packages to NICU babies and their loved ones!
