Willow

Willow is a bright, determined little girl with a heart full of love and a personality that fills every room she enters. She’s incredibly resilient, taking life’s big changes in stride as if they were no big deal. Willow’s kindness and empathy always shine through. She’s in her independent “me do it” stage, always eager to help with Mommy’s daily routines. Each moment is a new adventure, and she learns with curiosity and joy. Sweet, sassy, and spirited — Willow is a true light in our lives.

Willow is all about family time — the more, the better! She’s been a water baby from the start, and this summer, she’s really making a splash as she gets the hang of swimming. At home, her playground is her kingdom, and if it were up to her, she’d play out there from sunrise to sunset. From catch to soccer to basketball, she’s already showing off some seriously impressive coordination. When she’s not on the move, she’s singing, dancing, and cracking us up with her huge, sparkling personality.

We moved back to my hometown in Ohio from Pittsburgh to be closer to family, which brought changes in nearly every part of our lives — from housing and work to daycare for Willow. For a while, we were managing two homes and two daycares, commuting weekly between Ohio and Pittsburgh. It was a challenging time, both logistically and financially. Additionally, any assistance would be placed in a trust to support Willow’s future — especially her college education, should she choose to pursue it.
