Luke brings joy, kindness, and love everywhere he goes. He is sweet, calm, incredibly smart, and wonderfully silly, with a personality that brightens every room. What makes him truly special is his compassion toward his older brother with autism. Even when his brother struggles with interaction or connection,he patiently keeps trying to play,comfort,include,and love him exactly as he is. He shows empathy far beyond his years and reminds our family daily what unconditional love looks like.
What are Luke's favorite things to do?Luke approaches the world with endless curiosity and joy. He loves everything about the solar system, dinosaurs, and Bluey. He enjoys helping care for foster kittens, including trying to bottle feed them, and helping feed our other animals. Above all, Luke loves his older brother and always tries to play with, include, and care for him. He is happiest exploring, helping, laughing, and loving those around him.
What would your family do with $25,000?If we won, we’d take our boys on a special trip to the ocean, where the water brings calm and joy, especially for our older son with autism. We’d improve their playroom/homeschooling room to better support their different needs and stages of growth. We’d also continue helping foster animals, teaching our boys compassion, empathy, and kindness through caring for those who need it most
