River

River is a curious, adventurous, and deeply affectionate little boy who approaches the world with excitement and wonder. He loves making people laugh, giving hugs and kisses, and turning everyday moments into something magical. He’s fearless about trying new things, full of imagination, and always eager to learn. Whether he’s asking thoughtful questions or inviting everyone around him to dance, River brings warmth, joy, and energy everywhere he goes.

River loves music, dancing, building, and exploring. He always wants to know the name of a song, who sings it, and what the album cover looks like. When music comes on, he immediately wants to dance, and has been known to start an impromptu dance party, even in a crowded restaurant. He also loves combining multiple different building toys to create imaginative train stations and tracks. River is also fascinated by space and learning about planets; he hopes to visit Mars someday.

If River won Toddler of the Year, we would use the funds to support his education and creativity. A portion would go toward preschool tuition and enriching learning experiences that encourage his curiosity and love of discovery. We would also enroll him in music lessons so he can explore different instruments and develop his passion for rhythm and music. We would also use a portion to replace some of River's cherished stuffies and other belongings that were smoke damaged during the Eaton Fire.
